Fire Tears Through Anaheim, CA, Strip Mall

Aug. 15, 2024
Anaheim firefighters reported the flames destroyed all 10 businesses including an adult entertainment center, a liquor store and a restaurant.

Ten businesses in an Anaheim strip mall were destroyed by fire Wednesday.

Firefighters found smoke and flames were visible from one unit about 5:23 a.m. They initially thought they had it under control, but soon realize it had spread.

Additional crews were requested and the incident grew to four-alarms as the flames tore through the shops that include a taqueria, a Subway, a kitchen and bath supply store and an adult entertainment theater, KCAL reported.

The cause remains under investigation.
